Simplicity
Choosing or moving to a new brokerage platform takes time and can cost you money. The ability to test multiple platforms using a single tool allows novice traders to get the experience without costing them time and money. An easily searchable database of partnering brokerage firms templates allows users to 'test' them in environment that is simple to use and gives detailed information on how each platform works.
Design
Mobile applications are becoming increasingly more and more simplistic in order to attract more users and to keep them engaged. The overall design focus of Trading Skins would be simplistic in nature and put the focus more on the growing database of brokerage firms that participate. This allows users to find and apply each brokerage skin seamlessly without adding more layers than necessary.
Functionality
The idea of less is more is sometimes not the ideal path to a successful trading application. As individuals get more comfortable with the financial markets and the platforms that they trade on, they expect to have more functionality at their fingertips. Switching platforms always comes with a new set of challenges including order processing for stocks or options. Portfolio management features and overall performance statistics.
My goal is for novice and advanced traders alike to have one mobile application that allows them to test any mobile brokerage application without costing them money and time.
Navigating the financial markets and understand the reasons why stocks or commodities move they way the do is difficult enough. Why should we add an extra layer of difficulty to choosing which trading platform you are comfortable with. The Trading Skins application allows users to test all aspects of major brokerage firms with a few simple clicks.
Giving the users the full experience and helpful tutorials built into each templates to help them navigate easily and worry free.
With the increasing popularity of cryptocurrency and currency markets, it important for Trading Skins to expose users to different asset classes not commonly used or known about. The easy search capabilities allows users to filter different asset classes, brokerage minimums and financial market experience in order to for them to see the brokerage that fits their situation.
