Easy Maids Quoter
Bespoke online quoting system built specifically for the cleaning service industry clients
Tasked with design and development, my team and I, interviewed numerous maids franchises to understand how this application can better serve their business. Using a variety of tools including Axure Pro and Invision, our team designed and developed a data-centered application to help our client better understand their customers and to leverage quote data in order to increase their marketing reach.

Primary Problems & Goals
The majority of our cleaning service clients wanted to simplify how they handle quotes that came through different funnels including online and phone. They asked us to review their current process and identify areas that could make their process more efficient and provide them with a client management application that could help them better understand their customers and increase their marketing potential.
During our initial user interviews and discussing this project with individual franchise owners, we learned that many of them were still using paper to record their quote data. This was then transferred to an Excel spreadsheet which still lacked filtering capabilities and could be vulnerable to corruption or being overwritten. After gather client feedback and internal team discussion, we decided that the following would be our primary goals for the first iteration of the Easy Maids Quoter.
01 Customizable
The application needed to be flexible and cater to all of our clients, large or small. This required our design and development to account for a multitude of settings and quote requirements.
02 Data First
Our team saw an opportunity to use the data collected to help our clients maximize marketing reach by gaining a better understanding who their clients were and where they should maximize their marketing budgets.
03 Integrate
The application needed to be fully integrated into their individual franchise websites. This gave our clients a singular application to capture online and offline customer leads.
User Flow
The first user flow illustrates for stakeholders how users are being captured into the Easy Maids Quoter and the data gets logged after each successful quote entry. Link
The second user flow gives stakeholders an idea on how the online form captures user data.
Wireframes
My primary responsibilities while working on the Easy Maids Quoter was to translate client feedback and needs into a functional and easy to use dashboard. Using Axure, I created a handful low-fidelity wireframes to illustrate to our developers how each panel would display information. The structure of each panels were a product of our user testing and client feedback.
Final Mockups
To provide a clear vision on how the Maids Easy Quoter should be styled, I created some high-fidelity mockups. This particular iteration of the Maids Easy Quoter remained pretty basic in order for us to put in front of our clients so that they could start testing and giving us feedback how future improvements.

Mockup 1 - Main Dashboard
Providing our clients with a clean and easy to customize dashboard that compiled their quote data was one of the primary goals that we had set out to achieve. This customizable dashboard allows each franchise owner to display the data they deemed most important for their franchise.
Mockup 2 - Settings Panel
The biggest challenge to this project was including all the data points and variables from each franchise owners. It was important for them to be able to implement their own variables instead of using a universal settings panel. The first iteration of this panel included all of the variables discussed with our franchise owners.

Mockup 3 - Quote Overview Panel
This quotes overview panel iteration provides each franchise owners with a complete database of any quote. We included basic filtering capabilities and displayed column information based on the feedback received during the prototyping stage of our process. Entries can either be manually entered for phone and in-person quote requests or are automatically captured during user visits through the franchise websites.
Final Thoughts
My team and I set out to create a functioning online quoting system that allowed them to effectively manage and leverage their businesses' data. Even though the project had challenges in accommodating each franchises main priorities , my team and I successfully created an MVP that gave our clients a tool to help their business be more efficient and successful.
